Context

Where they started

Nord Logistics moves groupage freight across the Baltics and Scandinavia with 400 trucks. The old site was a 2016 business card: enquiries came by phone, managers priced them by hand, clients called to ask where their cargo was.

Sales lost up to 30 % of inbound calls on peak days. They needed a site that quotes and takes the order itself, and a portal that answers “where is my cargo” without a call.

Task

What had to happen

  1. A price calculator that answers in 10 seconds
  2. A client portal with tracking and documents
  3. A site that looks like a 400‑truck company, not a four‑truck one

Solution

What we did

The calculator is the first screen

City, city, weight, volume — price and delivery time appear instantly, and the order is one click away. No registration.

N

A portal instead of phone calls

Cargo status syncs from the ERP every 15 minutes and documents are signed online. Managers got two hours a day back.

N

Design that matches the scale

A strict grid, a route map, large numbers for the fleet and delivery times. Deep blue palette from the brand book.

Review

«We thought freight is not something people order online. Two months later the site was our second biggest channel after the sales team.»
