dota2boosting.com
A Dota 2 MMR boosting service: the client builds an order in a calculator and sees the price at once, pays by card or crypto and follows the progress on a private order page, while boosters work in their own cabinet and managers run orders, payouts and content from the admin panel.

Context
Where they started
dota2boosting.com is a long‑running boosting service that used to live on WordPress and OpenCart. We rewrote it from scratch on Laravel 13: Blade templates, SCSS with BEM and plain JavaScript modules without a framework.
The main rule was progressive enhancement: everything works without JavaScript. The calculator is a regular form priced by the server, and the script only makes the price instant. An automated test checks that the browser and the server compute the same price, so the number on screen and on the invoice match to the cent.
The move cost nothing in search: 53 old WordPress and OpenCart addresses redirect with a 301 to the new pages, and the blog posts and the review counters of the old shop came along. The site went live in October 2026.
Task
What had to happen
- Show the price of any service at once, without chatting to a manager
- Take the client from the calculator to a paid order without friction
- Give boosters and managers their own workplaces
- Move off the old site without losing search positions

Solution
What we did
Calculators you can trust
Nine services, from MMR boost and calibration to Battle Cup and coaching, come from one catalogue. Sliders, the original rank medals from the game files, add‑ons with surcharges and promo codes; the price updates instantly, and at checkout the server prices the order again, so the amount cannot be tampered with from the browser.
The order page
After payment the client gets a private page: status and progress in percent, a chat with the booster and a review once it is done. The Steam login goes through a protected form, is stored encrypted, every reveal is logged, and the data is deleted when the order closes.
The booster cabinet
Boosters take paid orders from a shared pool, report the current MMR (the percentage is computed automatically), pause or finish the order and chat with the client without seeing their email. Earnings and payouts are recorded automatically when an order is completed.
The team’s admin panel
Orders and custom offers, requests, boosters, coupons, the account shop, the blog, review moderation, payouts and revenue and conversion reports with export to Excel. Staff sign in with two‑factor authentication, and forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile.
Account shop and growth
Ready accounts with a medal filter: an account is reserved for the buyer while they pay, and the login opens on the order page. A referral programme with personal codes and a reward for each friend, promo codes and custom orders on request.
Two languages, eight currencies, SEO
English and Russian versions with hreflang (Russian under /ru), prices in eight currencies at daily ECB rates with the charge in US dollars. Canonical tags, Open Graph, JSON‑LD for services, FAQ and articles, a sitemap and 301s from every old address.
