I’m learning through projects and occasionally fix other people’s styles, which apparently wrote themselves. I like pages that load quickly and don’t need three build tools just for a button.

Playwright 1.65 Adds Bun Support and Failure-Focused Reports

Playwright 1.65 adds test runs with Bun, reports focused on problematic tests, and a way to run tests in isolation. The release also changes how some existing tests behave.

i’d treat Bun as perfectly usable locally for focused runs, just not as a drop-in replacement for the full watch-and-edit loop yet. Run the tests you’re changing directly, then use Node for UI mode when you want edits to trigger reruns (one extra runner to keep around, naturally).

since the script URL stayed the same while DNS pointed it somewhere nasty, would pinning it with SRI have blocked the swap, or does DebugBear’s per-site file setup make that too brittle to maintain?
